The History of Art Students’ Association at the University of Toronto is hosting the Third Annual History of Art Undergraduate Conference. This year’s theme is Back to Basics: Material and Process, and the conference will be held from 10-11 March 2017.
I will be speaking on 11 March 2017 at 1:45 during panel 3, Materials of Mass Production and Commodity: Destabilizing Notions of Culture and Identity on “The Materiality of Meret Oppenheim’s Surrealist Objects.”
This is my first academic conference, so I’m pretty excited.
This conference will explore the use and manipulation of materials and processes throughout history to create works of art and objects of material culture.
You can find out more information from the Facebook event page, and regsiter via Eventbrite. Tickets are $5 and include wine and lunch.
